What is Citadel?
A daily Stoic practice app combining morning readings, habits and goals, evening reflections and personal history.
Do I need a Citadel account?
No. The current design works without a Citadel account. Your practice content is stored locally on your device.
Where do my backups go?
To the storage location you choose. Citadel does not upload your backup to a Citadel server. If you choose a cloud drive through your device's file picker, that copy is stored with your chosen provider.
Can you recover my journal or backup password?
We don't have a server copy of your journal or backup. Keep your backup file and its password safe. Exported files and backups are separate from the data inside the app.
How do I remove my data?
Your content is held on your device, not in a Citadel account. Exact removal steps will be provided for each supported platform at launch. Copies you exported, backups and any device-managed backups must be managed separately.
Where can I download Citadel?
Citadel is still in development. Verified store links will appear on its product page when available.
